Welcome to the Winchester Business Crime Reduction Partnership Website

Winchester Business Crime Reduction Partnership

The Winchester Business Crime Reduction Partnership (WBCRP) works to prevent crime and disorder in the city centre. Co-ordinated by the Winchester Business Improvement District and working closely with the police and the local authority the WBCRP has a strong record of tackling business crime in the city.

The WBCRP works with a broad cross section of local businesses and operates a secure two way radio link connected to the city’s CCTV network and the city centre police team. Through this network the WBCRP operates an Exclusion Notice Scheme which bans prolific offenders from all WBCRP member locations.

In 2017 the WBCRP was awarded its third consecutive distinction standard accreditation by the National Association of Business Crime Reduction Partnerships.
