Winchester Business Crime Reduction Partnership
The Winchester Business Crime Reduction Partnership (WBCRP) works to prevent crime and disorder in the city centre. This is co-ordinated by the Winchester Business Improvement District who working closely with the police and the local authority providing WBCRP with a strong record of tackling business crime in the city.
The WBCRP works with a broad cross section of local businesses and operates a secure two way radio link connected to the city’s CCTV network and the city centre police team. Through this network the WBCRP operates an Exclusion Notice Scheme which excludes prolific offenders from all WBCRP member locations.
In 2021 the WBCRP was awarded its fourth consecutive National Standards Business Crime Reduction Partnership accreditation by Secure by Design the national Police crime prevention initiative which provides a recognised National standard for BCRP

Who we are and what we do
Winchester Business Crime Reduction Partnership is a membership organisation established to assist members to respond in a coordinated manner to crime that affects their businesses, profitability, staff, customers and the local community. By working together, sharing information about crime and those committing it, the partnership provides greater protection for both its members and the local community.
We are registered with the information commissioner for the purpose of ‘the prevention and detection of crime and the prosecution of offenders’.
