Tonbridge & Malling Safer Towns
Tonbridge & Malling Safer Towns is a long-established, Nationally Accredited, Business Crime Reduction Partnership, which operates within the borough of Tonbridge & Malling. It is a recognised member of the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships.
The primary objective of Tonbridge & Malling Safer Towns is to work with the business community, police, local authority, Community Safety Partnership, and other agencies within the borough, to reduce the effects of crime upon its members. In addition, it aims to:
- protect its members staff from acts of physical violence and verbal abuse,
- reduce the opportunities to commit business crime and anti-social behaviour,
- assist with the apprehension and prosecution of offenders,
- reduce the fear of crime for the benefit of members staff and the public,
- exclude persistent thieves and troublemakers from all member businesses,
- work towards creating a “safe and secure” environment, and thereby contribute to the economic viability and prosperity of the area.

Safer Sevenoaks & District Business Crime Reduction Partnership Disc System
Our business crime reduction partnership is made up from the business communities of Sevenoaks and Swanley towns working closely with police, local authorities, Community Safety Partnership and other agencies.
This member-only access to the website supports the partnership aims to prevent, deter, detect crime against business and community.
This secure GDPR compliant website is a key strategy that allows members to view and upload offender profiles, photos and incidents to a database, providing vital intelligence for members to share information about offenders so they can protect their property, staff, customers – and ultimately profits..
With the on-duty dedicated Town Centre Police Officers patrolling the Towns, digital supplied radios plus the Councils CCTV operation all providing, immediate, effective communications in order to help provide a safe secure shopping experience.
