CBCP is a membership organisation designed to facilitate intelligence sharing between Croydon BID’s retail and hospitality members and their security teams, the police, the council (and other partners as appropriate) for the purpose of reducing crime and anti-social behaviour in Croydon Town Centre.
Under the guidance of the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships, all UK BCRPs are assessed to an industry standard. CBCP is registered with the Information Commission Office for Data Protection (Z1904128) and has professional indemnity insurance cover.
Crime and the fear of crime can impact on the profitability of your business. Joining a partnership will help you to reduce shoplifting and anti-social behaviour.
Our overall aim is to support Croydon Town Centre businesses to target resources more efficiently, through effective intelligence and information exchange, for the purpose of reducing shoplifting and other crime related incidents.
We enable businesses to protect themselves from cyber fraud and terrorism by being a conduit of best practice examples and useful links to all relevant national policy and information updates.
We are passionate about working in partnership with the business community and local agencies to reduce the impact of crime in Croydon Town Centre.
